There's been a strange virus going around this winter, one that hits hardest the morning after a big snow. All season long, people have been, cough cough, coming down with peculiar symptoms that include being too ill to work or go to school but amazingly still able to ski. Very odd.
We're concerned that you might be coming down with this mystery illness. Snow keeps piling up, with at least 8 inches last night and another TWO FEET forecast over the next 10 days. These conditions seem to exacerbate symptoms, so you really need to be vigilant.
If you are feeling a little something coming on, we'd like to offer you a place to convalesce. Some of the things that really seem to help are skiing through powder, a therapeutic sweat in a sauna, a long soak in a hot tub, and a hearty and excellent breakfast. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are equally effective (and we've got snowshoes you can borrow, with trails right outside our door). Hot cider and cookies by the fire also have some benefit.
Like a spoonful of sugar, our ski & stay package can really help you bear the treatment. Give us a call to discuss benefits, risks, and side effects.
If you find that you've caught this bug but feel compelled and somehow able to do a few hours of work, squeezed in between your therapeutic skiing and convalescing, we can provide super-fast WiFi so you can get those things done quickly and then get back to recuperating. We, however, urge you to limit severely the amount of time you spend on your laptop or phone. This illness should be taken seriously, as symptoms can last for days and days and sometimes return the next time it snows.
We're worried about you and your wellbeing, and we'd really like to help. Let us know if you need our support as you ski your way back to health.
From snowy Vermont,
Karen and Mick
